September at The Market

With the fall fast approaching, we now have only two more Market Days left for the 2024 season! With a quick look back we can say that we have enjoyed some amazing times this summer at The Market at cSPACE (Marda Loop). 

We enjoyed special performances from Jubefest (Kirby Sewell, The Charms, The Heebee-jeebees). There were a gamut of kids’ activities from Jube School (Rozzie Lee Chalk Art, Chantal Chagnon), The Green Fools, and Brickwares. And a host of local musicians gave great shows on the Sarina Homes Stage, it’s been a whirlwind!

We were also delighted to feature many of our cSPACE Marda Loop Community Members (Aroma Cafe, Alberta Craft Council, Alberta Magazine Publishers Association, Alliance Française, Rozsa Foundation). Special thanks go out to all our incredible volunteers this summer from our featured supporter Youth Central, and to our newest partner, Sarina Homes, who will be sponsoring performances at the Market for the next 2 years.

September 14th: The Alberta Craft Gallery (Calgary) will be hosting another make-and-take craft session with Susanah Windrum and Copper Lizard Studio (Instagram @copperlizardstudio) on the 2nd floor for a free craft activity open to all ages and abilities!
