🎶 Coming this Saturday, May 31st - free live music at cSPACE Marda Loop on the Sarina Builds Stage! 🎶
🎤 From 10am-noon, enjoy the “Dream Pop Yacht Rock” of Café Rosé. Café Rosé is the eagerly awaited passion project of Calgary songwriter/guitarist/actor Ben Rose and all the beautiful musicians and songwriters around the world he has the privilege of collaborating with. The Café is a garden where original songs grow and old songs get replanted. When forced to name a genre we also say “Country, Soul, Rock & Roll”, but there are few genres from which we don’t borrow something. “Whatever the song wants” is Ben’s motto.
🎤 From noon-2pm enjoy the musical stylings of local singer-songwriter Justine Giles. Justine is known as a passionate leader in the arts. She cites Sarah McLachlan and Tenille Townes as artists who have inspired her most recently, adding to the messages of female empowerment that have always been present in her work. Her new EP, suitably titled “Another Chance”, encapsulates the past five years in five heartfelt and beautifully constructed songs. It’s available now on all streaming platforms.

At cSPACE Marda Loop, we have over two dozen amazing arts and culture tenants. Each Saturday we will be inviting them down to the market grounds to meet you and share what they do!
The Alberta Craft Gallery is an extension of the Alberta Craft Council - a Provincial Arts Service Organization that develops, promotes, and advocates for Craft in Alberta.
They do this by supporting contemporary and heritage crafts as significant art forms that contribute to Alberta’s culture, and are invested in developing a craft sector of creative, skilled, viable, and sustainable craftspeople, studios, businesses, and networks.
Their gallery and store are located on Level 2 of the building, and are open Wed-Fri 11am-5pm, and Sat 10am-5pm.

🎤 From 10am-noon, enjoy the musical stylings of Alice Jane. Australian singer/songwriter Alice Jane is becoming a familiar face around Calgary, entertaining communities with sweet and honest lyrics in a folk style. When not performing around town, Alice’s greatest role is as mother to her four young kids, and is also half of folk duo Meadowsweet.
🎤 From noon-2pm enjoy dynamic duo Bluebird Telegraph. Bluebird Telegraph, featuring Laurie Fuhr and Craig Galambos, play uplifting vocal and instrumental jazz from the 1920s to the present, performed in nostalgic style with upright bass, gypsy jazz guitar, and sweet n’ sultry vocals.
