Enjoy an engaging atmosphere filled with conversation, creativity, and community—plus free parking.
The Art of Impact showcases a dynamic collection of mixed media, painting, and 3D artworks created by the Recess! Crew. As part of the ArtRecruits program, this leadership development initiative highlights the creative process and the power of a growth mindset, collaboration, and inspired action.
Presented in Studio C from March 16–27, the exhibition has evolved over time—shaped by curiosity, experimentation, and collective creativity. At its heart is a “community of creative fulfillment,” where participants exchange ideas, support one another, and explore authentic self-expression.

Join Javelin Laurence (they/them), an ICF-trained coach and multidisciplinary storyteller, for Gender Diversity Training for Allies in the Film Industry. This in-person, experiential workshop is designed to support cisgender professionals working across Alberta’s film industry in building the knowledge and practical skills needed to be effective allies to gender-diverse colleagues.
Through guided discussion, hands-on exercises, and real-world case studies, participants will deepen their understanding of gender identity and gain confidence in navigating inclusive practices in the workplace. The session offers a supportive environment to ask questions, practice using gender-neutral language and pronouns, and explore best practices for fostering respectful and equitable collaboration.
