In this class, students will learn techniques on how to take apart, and put back together clothing* to create new fashion pieces of their own. From appliqué and patches to making a vest from a jacket, the possibilities are whatever one can imagine (within the functionality of construction;))! And with the right instruction, it can be fun and sew much fun to dive into!
*A few weeks prior to camp, students will be emailed a general list of clothing and materials to bring (ie. t-shirts, shirts, sweaters, jeans, jackets etc.)along with a few inspirational videos will be sent along to get the ideas going and help them with what to bring to class.
This camp runs Monday to Thursday. It is four 5-hour sessions. The camp dates are:
