In the fall of 2025, five young adults created short films exploring meaningful moments from their experiences with ALS, either as caregivers or as individuals living with the disease.
This meaningful evening, hosted by filmmaker and health researcher Dr. Mike Lang and the ALS Society of Alberta, brings Alberta’s ALS community together to watch the films and engage in thoughtful conversations with the storytellers and with one another.
Attendance is free, and registration is required for both in-person participation and for those wishing to receive the livestream viewing link.
Attendees can expect to watch the films collectively and take part in guided conversations with the storytellers and fellow participants. The experience is designed to foster deeper connections to personal meaningful moments and a renewed appreciation for the insight and wisdom that can emerge from unexpected life experiences.
A livestream viewing option is available for registered online attendees. A private viewing link will be emailed to those who select the livestream option during registration. Individuals who register for in-person attendance but are no longer able to attend the event are encouraged to contact the ALS Society of Alberta to request access to the livestream link.
