PERFORMANCE: Festival of Animated Objects presents Esperanza

PERFORMANCE: Festival of Animated Objects presents Esperanza by Iván Guevara García
cSPACE Marda Loop
Level 1 – Studio Theatre
March 18 and 19, 2026
9:00 PM – 10:00 PM
If death is not the end, can we make our goodbyes have the same joy of a first hello?
Inspired by Mexican culture, Esperanza is a story about hope, love and remembrance.
Join 10 year old Esperanza in the land of the dead as she navigates through the complex journey of grief, in a world full of mask and shadow puppetry.
In this collective creation we embrace the beauty of death and remind ourselves that the dead can also miss the living.
