Kathy Lewis, a resident of Chartwell Fountains of Mission, is set to have her lifelong wish granted with an exhibition of her paintings. Lewis, who took up painting in retirement to stay mentally active and manage arthritis, discovered the Chartwell wish program through a newsletter. Her work will be showcased from June 10 to June 29, with an opening reception where attendees can meet the artist. Despite her modesty, Lewis hopes to sell her 29 pieces to fund her passion for art.
