Guests are invited to experience a refined introduction to Japanese tea culture and pottery through a curated matcha and traditional treats sampling.
This event brings together Issa Green Matcha Tea, authentic Japanese sweets crafted by a Japanese-Calgarian baker, and the timeless beauty of Japanese ceramics. Set within a gallery space, attendees can immerse themselves in the artistry and cultural significance of tea traditions while surrounded by elegant pottery.
Presented in conjunction with Minoru Ueda’s exhibition, Ichigo Ichie: A Moment in Time, the experience reflects the Japanese philosophy of treasuring each moment as unique and unrepeatable.
Hosted at Alberta Craft Gallery – Calgary, this gathering offers an opportunity to appreciate the harmony of flavor, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage.
