You will also hear the Quartet in d minor, a work of genius composed by Mozart at age 17 in Vienna. Last but not least we feature Arche II, also a youthful work by one of the most celebrated Canadian composers, our own Allan Gordon Bell. This is the first in a series of AGB compositions to be recorded by Astralis Quartet, thanks to a generous grant received from Alberta Foundation for the Arts. Both Robert Humber and Allan Gordon Bell will be in attendance to introduce their work.”
