Stampede Pancake Breakfast 2023 Wrap Up

Stampede Pancake Breakfast 2023 Wrap Up

That’s a wrap on cSPACE’s first ever Stampede Pancake Breakfast!

July 19, 2023

Celebrating the first-ever cSPACE Stampede Pancake Breakfast for and by artists at cSPACE Marda Loop was an incredible success! With over 450 attendees, dedicated volunteers, and outstanding staff, the event was a true testament to the vibrant arts community we have fostered. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this event a resounding triumph.

Firstly, we want to express our deepest appreciation to Greg Clark, our current Board Chair for cSPACE Projects, for delivering an inspiring speech that captured the spirit of our community. Janet Emerenko, MLA for Calgary-Currie, also graced us with her impactful words, igniting a sense of unity and celebration among the attendees.

A special mention goes to the talented bluegrass band Rotary Park, whose lively performance created an unforgettable atmosphere, filling the air with joy and excitement. Their music resonated with everyone present, amplifying the positive energy of the event.

None of this would have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors. We extend our sincere thanks to the Rozsa Foundation, Alliance Française, Casa Mexico, and Aroma Cafe for their invaluable contributions. Your commitment to the arts and the cSPACE Marda Loop community is truly commendable.

Lastly, we want to express our excitement for the future. The overwhelming success of this Stampede Pancake Breakfast has reinforced our belief in the power of art and community. We are already looking forward to next year’s event, where we can come together once again, celebrate our shared passion, and create lasting memories.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, performed, laboured for, and sponsored this remarkable event. Your unwavering support has made a tremendous difference, and we are immensely grateful. Let’s continue to cultivate a thriving arts community in Calgary, inspiring creativity and fostering connections for years to come.
