Bunny and Frou-Frou sat at a dimly lit café in Montmartre, their fingers entwined over a small, round table.
Outside, the streets shimmered with rain, but inside, the air was warm, scented with citrus and champagne.
“A toast, mon amour,” Bunny purred, lifting his coupe glass. Frou-Frou smiled, her ruby lips curling as she clinked hers against his. “To art, to love, and to the French 75.”
The first sip was electric—gin, lemon, sugar, and the effervescence of champagne bubbling between them like laughter. Bunny, ever the passionate painter, traced invisible strokes on Frou-Frou’s wrist, imagining the golden glow of candlelight on her porcelain skin.
“You taste like Paris,” he whispered.
“And you, my darling,” Frou-Frou murmured, leaning in, “taste like trouble.”
Their lips met, the kiss fizzy and intoxicating, like the cocktail between them—bold, timeless, and brimming with possibility.
