cSPACE Marda Loop presents the 20/20 Wavelength Project.

The community exhibition is an evolving collaborative art project that puts a spotlight on artists in our community, and invites participation from the public throughout the length of the exhibition. Are we on the same wavelength? Are we even close?

When we layer our points of view, do we feel in harmony?
Or is there just more discord?

In November lead artist Andy Moro will creatively transform the exhibition into light-filled artworks to be installed on the lawn of cSPACE Marda Loop. These lanterns into the community will shine a light on the present moment, literally and figuratively, and inspire us through the long winter nights ahead.

The community exhibition launches at 2pm on Saturday, September 26th and runs until October 25th. The Art Cube installation will be announced in November.

With special thanks to our sponsors, Alberta Culture Days, Lemay, and our collaborators at the Indefinite Arts Centre.

The 20/20 Wavelength Project — Community Exhibition

cSPACE and Alberta Culture Days invites you to a gallery and online art exhibition with work created by you, our community.

We want to hear how people are coping with issues like the global pandemic and its effect on human connection, their own economy, the environment. You are invited to share images and/or words around what matters to you right now. We invite all ideas.

We are collecting ideas from you until September 20th. Submissions will then be curated into a building-wide gallery exhibition, open to the public, in our hallway galleries.

Hooked?

Full submission guidelines available here. Find out how how you can be part of this exciting new community collaboration! Submissions accepted through September 20th.

More of a spectator? We need you too. Come catch the Wavelength from September 25th to October 25th at cSPACE Marda Loop, during public hours.
