Mark your calendars for our upcoming “I Heart Arts” Showcase Event on February 8th and get ready for an arts-filled adventure throughout 2024!

If you’re 18+, have a heart for helping others, and can handle a bit of creative heavy lifting (like moving tables and chairs), then brace yourself for an exciting opportunity as a cSPACE Marda Loop volunteer!

As part of our creative crew, you’ll:

• Support the vibrant arts and culture community
• Collaborate with fun, like-minded people
• Help transform our communities into vibrant hubs of creative energy through the magic of creative placemaking!

It’s not a dealbreaker, but we’d love to know if are pro-serve certified, take great photos, and/or are a social media guru. 

Our February showcase takes place on Feb 8th from 5pm-9pm at cSPACE Marda Loop, and will feature live music from the Robin Tufts Trio, photographic exhibitions from the Exposure Photo Fest, and a Silent Auction with items donated from members of the local Marda Loop Business Improvement Area (BIA). 

Meet members of our exciting creative community who make cSPACE their home base. Participating organizations include the Alberta Craft Council, Feast Studio and Design, Lucky Small Things Gallery, Quest Theatre for Kids, Springboard Performance, the Alexandra Writers’ Centre Society, Anneke Forbes Design, Natalie Gerber Design, Alliance Française, AMPA, Casa Mexico, Aroma Cafe, and more.

More volunteer opportunities are available for our May, July, and October showcase events, as well as a pancake breakfast and beer garden this summer.
