DESCRIPTION:SHINING A LIGHT ON SENIORS & FRAUD\nSeniors’ Acting Lab Society proud to present their latest senior-focused\, original play. The scene is familiar – isolated senior\, new computer\, old friend in trouble – but the outcome is anything but! After Gloria pushes her mother\, Dot\, to seek connection via the internet\, Dot begins to reconnect with a childhood friend… Or so she thinks. Gloria’s suspicion of her mother’s new friend only solidifies Dot’s resolve to delve deeper into the relationship and before either of them realize what’s really going on\, it’s too late. However\, as it turns out\, not too late to give the scammers a taste of their own medicine! \nOld Mule was written by Edmonton playwright Nicole Moeller and is directed by returning SALS director\, Pat Chan. \nOld Mule will run for 6 shows only at cSPACE Marda Loop Studio Theatre (1721 29 Ave SW) from January 25-28\, 2024. Tickets are $30 for adults and $25 for seniors and students and may be purchased through the Morpheus Theatre box office at tickets.morpheustheatre.ca.
