She strives to promote the value of children’s art through organizing art events in Scarboro\, Mount Royal\, Marda Loop and Bankview communities. Her goals are to keep children motivated and focused\, and to encourage them to pursue their artistic talents. \nVania Dimitrova is a visual artist\, illustrator and graphic designer with a Master’s Degree in Visual Arts and Illustration\, and a Diploma of Graphic Design from VCAD. DESCRIPTION:John Lowry\, violin\nEdmund Chung\, violin\nMarcin Swoboda\, viola\nDaniel Poceta\, cello \nThe title work for this concert\, Old Strathcona\, is a new quartet by Kristin Flores\, a well known composer\, violinist and teacher in the Calgary area. The music is descriptive of the Old Strathcona neighbourhood in Edmonton.
