DESCRIPTION:John Lowry\, violin\nEdmund Chung\, violin\nMarcin Swoboda\, viola\nDaniel Poceta\, cello \nThe title work for this concert\, Old Strathcona\, is a new quartet by Kristin Flores\, a well known composer\, violinist and teacher in the Calgary area. The music is descriptive of the Old Strathcona neighbourhood in Edmonton. Also to be performed are youthful and exuberant works of Felix Mendelssohn and Calgary composer Roydon Tse\, recently returned to Calgary after completing his PhD at University of Toronto. \n$25 general admission\, $12 students\nTickets also available by email (astralis.cms@gmail.com) & by phone or text (403-891-5615)
